O Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF) recebeu hoje (28) uma ação que questiona a convocação de governadores para prestar depoimento à Comissão Parlamentar de Inquérito (CPI) da Pandemia. A ação foi protocolada por 18 governadores, mas somente nove foram chamados pelos senadores para depoimento.
Na ação, os governadores sustentam que só podem ser investigados pelo legislativo estadual e não podem ser chamados a prestar depoimento na CPI do Senado.
“Uma vez permitida a convocação de governadores em CPIs no âmbito do Congresso Nacional, estar-se-ia autorizando uma nova hipótese de intervenção federal no âmbito das gestões administrativas estaduais”, diz a ação.
A convocação foi aprovada na quarta-feira (26). Deverão comparecer à comissão os seguintes governadores: Wilson Lima (Amazonas), Helder Barbalho (Pará), Ibaneis Rocha (Distrito Federal), Mauro Carlesse (Tocantins), Carlos Moisés (Santa Catarina), Antonio Denarium (Roraima), Waldez Góes (Amapá), Marcos Rocha (Rondônia) e Wellington Dias (Piauí).
